Bokor Mountain Hill, Cambodia
This jungle covered national park of today is what locals claim to be an abandoned ghost town. Bokor National Park is undoubtedly the most strange, yet interesting site around Kampot, Cambodia. The site is reminiscent of Cambodia's colonial past and is a great attraction for those who are carried away by nature, history, adventure and paranormal activities.
The French developed this area as a small resort village for escaping the city chaos but this retreat was ruthlessly deserted during the World War II. Strolling around the place and watching remains of royal residences, Catholic Church, hotel rooms, casino and other buildings, you will be able to picture the turbulent past Bokor Mountain Hill station went through.

Years after a loner named Don Julian Santana decided to dedicate rest of his life to please the tormented spirit of the girl who drowned. It was this man only who hung around dolls at every tree the island had. Strangely, Don Julian was himself found dead, in exactly the same way the girl met her fate. This is one strange place that you must visit.
Turkmenistan – Door To Hell
“The Door To Hell” or “Darwaza” is a giant human is crater that is undeniably, a fascinating attraction. However, this massive crater is result of an ecological disaster that took place more than 40 years ago. The spot is located in Karakum Desert, Turkmenistan.
It was some drilling activity that made the earth rig collapse accidentally, giving way to a giant crater. The gas that started to escape out of this crater is poisonous in nature and therefore it is being made out to burn rather than releasing it in atmosphere. It was considered that the entire gas would burn off in few years but with seemingly inexhaustible gas supply, the crater has been burning since last 40 years. We all have seen big and small aquariums that have fishes and other marine life of different variety but have you ever come across an aquarium that has marine life frozen in lifelike state? If not, visit Kori no Suizokukan, better known as the Frozen aquarium, in Miyagi Prefecture, Japan. More than 400 specimens of aquatic animals as well as fishes have been flash-frozen and kept in aquariums that are nothing more than blocks of ice. Because of being frozen in life state, the fishes are dead but they still appear to be swimming. The attraction looks like some kind of frozen seafood section in a supermarket but it is definitely worth visiting.
